The day I visited was just a fair day. It was the day of the Shinko Festival. Food stalls lined the narrow approach to the shrine, and many people were walking along the path flanked by the stalls. The normally quiet precincts of the shrine were quite crowded on this particular day.
A woman wearing glasses was standing in front of a stall. She was holding a plastic bag in her hand. This woman was probably someone who worked at the fair rather than someone who came to play at the fair. A small banner with the word "Ramune" written on it could be seen above her head, and the torii gate was floating beyond the people walking along the approach.
