The store sold cigarettes, candy, shampoo, and other miscellaneous items. It was a typical general store. When I find such a store on my travels, I am always curious about what kind of things they sell and want to explore the store, but it is difficult to do so in Kathmandu. The general stores in this area have counters, which are not suitable for browsing freely.
This store also has a counter and there is a woman standing inside. This means that you can't just pick up an item without permission, and you have to ask the shopkeeper if they have it or not. The woman manning the counter was surrounded by miscellaneous items and was looking at us with a cheekbone. She seemed to be waiting to be asked something, but I couldn't think of what to ask her.
