The inside of a juice stand on Dihua Street was a messy mess
The store on Dihua Street in Taipei was selling fresh juice. Standing at the back of the store, I could see the inside of the store clearly. There was a line of juice-making mixers on the counter. I could also see two figures working in the dimly lit, messy store.
Taiwan is located farther south than Japan, so there is an abundance of fruit. When you walk around town, you will often see fruits for sale, and fresh juices made from the fruits are often sold. And all of them are cheaper than in Japan. In Japan, fresh fruit juice has an image of being a bit expensive, but here in Taipei, this is not the case.
As I stared blankly at the store, a female customer came in to buy a juice.
