As I passed by a store in Dhaka, I saw a young girl standing at the counter. Since there were no adults around, I guessed that this girl was tending to the store alone. She was young enough to make me worry about whether she could properly tend to the store.
I am concerned about whether or not she will be able to respond properly when customers arrive, but what worries me even more is that she seems to be distracted. She seemed to have already grown tired of the major role of store keeper, and was staring at her hands. She must be playing with her friends somewhere else.
