Woman With Sindoor And Bindi

Woman with sindoor and bindi

This woman sold vegetables

Shot in the city of Malda, India.

A street market was held in the city center. The street vendors displayed what they sold on the ground. The woman in the photo was also working there.

She put Bindi, a red dot between eyebrows and Sindoor, a red line on the forehead. The Sindoor indicates that this woman was married. Besides, she pierced her nose. Although I saw many people with a Bindi during strolling, it was not often to see the women with a Sindoor like her.
