The area where I was walking around was crammed with the shabby dwellings. In spite of the location, which was near Yangon central station, its atmosphere was idyllic. I couldn't feel any urbanized feelings during strolling. Most of the dwellings were small but some of them were two-storied and large. The dwellers seemed not to be rich. However, I thought there was also a rich-poor gap here.
The house which I stopped in front of was one of the large houses. The upstairs window was open. And I found a woman standing by the window. The local people came and went in front of her house. She was watching the traffic from above. Although I thought the scenery was very familiar to her, she kept watching interestingly while she put her fingers to her face.
