I was walking through the village of Batad. This village is surrounded by stunning rice terraces and is a World Heritage Site. Therefore, despite being a small village in the mountains, it is also a tourist destination that many tourists visit.
Many of the houses in this village are built on stilts and high-floored. It is necessary to climb a ladder to get into the houses. This is probably because of the high humidity. In one of the houses, a girl was playing by herself next to the ladder to get into the house under the floor. The girl looked lonely. Maybe it's because none of her friends come to the house and it's all tourists.
