Along with many shops, there were also some green groceries in the street market. The shop in this photo was one of them. Various vegetables were displayed in the storefront. The place was occupied by the colorful vegetables. Bitter gourds, cut pumpkins, eggplants, carrots, cabbages, cauliflowers, radishes, and others were sold here. Besides, I saw some unfamiliar vegetables in Japan. If people came here without deciding what they ate for dinner, they could feel as if they were in the candy store.
Perhaps, the woman in this photo might be an appropriated person. The woman wearing a hijab crouched in front of various vegetables. She had an okra-like vegetable in her hand and seemed to ponder whether she should buy.
Apparently, she was a Muslim. It is said the about 4% population of Myanmar is Muslim. Yet I don't know whether the Rohingya people are included in the number.
