I often saw public telephone booths when I walked around. Even though it was a public telephone booth, the telephone equipments were the same as what was placed in a home in the developed countries. Necessarily, there were some clerks. And they counted the duration of the call by the clock.
Two women in the photo were also clerks. Yet there were no customers and they seemed to busy to kill their boredom. They were absorbed in reading books.
