There was a row of public telephones on a street corner in Seremban. Despite the number of phones, no one was using them. The phones were quietly waiting for someone to come in, put some money in them, and make a call.
When you walk around this town, there are pay phones everywhere. However, as cell phones are becoming more and more popular, they will probably be removed soon. This must be a transitional period.
There was a sign above the phone. According to the sign, it was forbidden to use the phone while smoking. Smoking while walking is not blamed, but making a phone call while puffing out purple smoke seems to be forbidden.
