There was a public phone at the intersection in Seremban. Cell phones seemed to be spreading in Malaysia, but there were still many public phones on the roadside. And just like in Japan and other countries, there were advertising flyers on the booths of public phones. I couldn't tell what the advertisements were for because there were only letters written on them, but they didn't seem to be X-rated ads. This is a country where Islam is the state religion. I guess they are strict about that kind of thing.
A mother in flowery clothes and her son were standing side by side at the pay phone, just about to make a call. The mother and son must not have gotten a cell phone yet.
