As I passed by a hotel in George Town, I noticed several trishaws parked side by side. They were waiting for customers to show up, hoping to get a hotel guest. But they didn't show up that easily. Most of the drivers, who had too much time on their hands, seemed to have left the scene and were nowhere to be seen. Only Trishaws, holding up parasols, were quietly lined up on the side of the road.
Trisaws are pedicabs commonly seen in Malaysia. The seat for the passenger sits in front of the pedaling driver, similar in shape to a Vietnamese cyclo or Indonesian becak.
