Tram Crossing The Wide Street

Red tram cutting across

A tram appeared in the wide street

Shot in the city of Wakabayashi, Tokyo.

I climbed the pedestrian bridge spanned over a wide street and watched the flow of the cars below my eyes. It was a four-lane and crowded. When I watched, the stream of automobiles stopped suddenly. And a tram started to cross the street.

It was the Setagaya line. The automobiles were waiting for the tram finishing crossing tamely. It moved slowly as if it publicized its existence as a central player in the street at that time.
