Red Umbrella In The Precinct

red umbrella
Shot at Shoin Jinja, a Shinto shrine in Wakabayashi, Tokyo tetsuOzawa

A red umbrella was set up

Along the approach, some tables were placed and the worshipers could drink a cup of tea there. And the traditional umbrella called 'BANGASA' was put beside each table. The color was vivid red and they were attention-grabbers. The scene with the red umbrellas looked like a festival was held on that day.

Because the approach was long, it took a long time to reach to the prayer hall if the worshiper kept resting.
