Plane trees in Shinjuku Gyoen are a popular place for photography

When I come to Shinjuku Gyoen Park on a fine day, I often see people taking pictures. Some of them are taking pictures in groups of like-minded people, some of them are taking pictures with girls who seem to be models, and some of them are taking pictures of their own girlfriends with big cameras. Recently, many mothers have been taking pictures of their own children.

The plane trees lined with large leaves scattered about seemed to be a popular place to take pictures, and many people were taking pictures with their cameras and smartphones. Now that the performance of smartphone cameras has improved, everyone is able to take beautiful pictures. When I see people taking pictures, I sometimes think that taking pictures with digital cameras has become easier than before, but the person being photographed has become more troublesome than before. With digital cameras, the results can be checked immediately, so some people have to re-take photos over and over again until they are satisfied. I felt a little sorry for some of the children who were bewildered by being asked to smile over and over again.
