There is a French-style garden in a corner of Shinjuku Gyoen. There, platanus trees have been planted along a small path, forming a tree-lined avenue. The trees are high and thick, and benches are provided underneath. It is a very nice place to take a break in the garden. This makes it a popular spot for many people. In most cases, the benches are already occupied by the time I arrive. It is difficult to get a bench here. You have to come early if you want to be sure of getting a bench.
