I was walking alone through the dimly lit alleys of the old city of Fez. All the alleys in the old city were narrow and winding, like a maze. At the end of one such alley was a well. A woman was just drawing water. Wells are everywhere in the maze-like old town, and are still used on a daily basis. I often saw gossip sessions being held around wells. Perhaps the houses in this area have not yet received water service.
As I watched from a distance as a woman fetched water, I suddenly saw a man dribbling a ball. Football is also a popular sport in Morocco. When I walked down an alleyway and saw a well, I saw gossip sessions around wells, and I also saw boys playing football in an alleyway in Morocco.
