Many statues are lined up in the precincts of Daien-ji Temple in Meguro, Tokyo. These statues are Five Hundred Arhat Statues and are believed that they are dedicated to victims of fire in 1772. The fire was one of three big fires during the Edo period and over 14,000 people were died.
