Rainy skies over the Nio-mon Gate of Meguro Fudo

Nio-mon Gate of Meguro Fudo

The official name of Meguro Fudo is called Ryusen-ji Temple. But in most cases, I think it is called Meguro Fudo. Even though many people know of Meguro Fudo, few may recognize it when they hear its official name. Since the temple is located near my house, I visit it from time to time. The gate in the photo is the Nio-mon gate that rises at the entrance.

The gate is flanked on both sides by Nio, who prevents evil from entering the temple grounds. But there are some things in the world that cannot be helped even with the power of Nio. There are dark clouds in the sky above, but even the power of Vajrayana cannot dispel them. Even if we can protect Buddhism, it is impossible order to keep the weather calm.
