The street was garbage-strewn. And the shops were shuttered. In this deserted street, a wagon was placed. A man wearing a Taqiyah cap was sitting on the wagon in a cross-legged position. He was a street vendor and selling gingers and garlic there. The heaps of them were seen on the table.
By the way, both of them were indispensable materials to cook Indian curry. So I thought they were in high demand. On the other hand, the street was empty. I worried whether he made good business sense there.
