A Shinto priest was walking

Shot at Shiba Daijingu, a Shinto shrine in Shiba, Tokyo.

Although this shrine is small, it has a long history. According to legend, it was built in 1005. Yet the shrine pavilions are modernistic and don't seem quaint and outdated. Many shrine pavilions in the urban area were rebuilt within a century. The main halls and other architectures in this shrine were also rebuilt after WWII.

When I stood just in front of the big torii. some worshipers were climbing the staircase to the prayer hall. Not only me but also a Shinto priest who walked by was watching them.
