The old church was surrounded by the buildings
The Church of St George which was built in the 4th century was surrounded by the modern architectures. When I was passing through the dim passage, I found it at the end of the way. And I felt the tunnel I was walking looked like a time portal. I stopped and watched for a while. A couple walking ahead of me also stopped in the tunnel.
It is an Early Christian red brick rotunda and considered the oldest building in the city.
