KITTE, a commercial facility in Marunouchi, is operated by the Japan Post. The name "KITTE" is a pun on the word "stamp" as well as the word "come." Whether or not people will continue to come to KITTE, as the name suggests, remains to be seen.
The interior of KITTE has a sense of openness with its atrium. There are not so many people and you can walk around leisurely. When I looked at the stores on the other side of the atrium, I saw that each floor was separated by floors and pillars, each like a cell. Inside each cell, you could see a wriggling human figure. It was just like a working cell.
