The old town of Bhaktapur is lined with old brick buildings. Walking through the streets is like walking through a movie set, but in reality, people are living in the city. Therefore, there are stores in the town that cater to the locals.
This time I passed a store that caters to the locals. Inside the store was a foot-pedal sewing machine, which a man was operating with great dexterity. He was a tailor. When I walk around Bhaktapur, I often see people like this man working in the sewing industry. The man operating the sewing machine was aware that I was pointing the camera at him and was working with a shy smile on his face. The woman behind him was also smiling.
