School Boys Running To The Zuisen Gate

Zuisen-Mon gate in Shurijo castle
Shot at Shurijo Castle in Naha, Okinawa Tetsu Ozawa

The boys raced over to the gate

The gate stood in the middle of the stairway was Zuisen-Mon gate. Like other architectures in this castle, the gate was rebuilt after WWII.

By the way, Okinawa Prefecture is one of the popular destinations of the school excursion. It might be chosen because this prefecture had a disaster history during WWII. Anyway, I saw many school boys and girls came from the main island of Japan during walking around the site.

And many school boys were ahead me when I came to the gate. Suddenly, they started to run. I didn't know what was the cue to run. They raced over to the gate following one another. I felt as if I watched a flash mob.
