After visiting the Poor Man's Taj in Aurangabad, I walked towards the inn where I was staying. The Taj of the Poor, or Bibi Ka Maqbara was empty and not many people seemed to be visiting, despite the impressive pillow word "poor", and the surrounding land was not a tourist attraction. As soon as I left the site, I found myself in a nondescript residential area.
The river appeared beside me as I trudged along. Two women were walking along the riverside. They were both carrying a washbasin on their heads as they walked. They seemed to have finished washing their clothes in the river and were on their way home. Washing clothes in the river is a common practice in this area.
