This small temple was built by Hanzo Hattori, a leader of Ninja during the Edo period. And his tomb was also built in this temple. The precinct was silent. Although he is very famous and everyone knows him, few people visit his grave. His grace stands obscurely in a corner of the precinct.

Near his grave, there are some stone statues. They were old. According the inscription, they were built about 250 years ago. One of them was relaxing in the sunny spot while it was putting its chin on his hand. It seemed to be tired because no one came to it.
