Half Smile Of A Rickshaw Wallah

Rickshaw man smiling

The man smiled when he noticed my camera

Shot in the city of Kathmandu, Nepal.

The man in this photo was a rickshaw wallah and stood in front of the seat of his cycle rickshaw. He sent me a half-smile when I held my SLR camera. Apparently, he was Tibetan.

Many Tibetans are living in Kathmandu. Tibet is not so far from Nepal. Besides, many Tibetans fled from their home country after the Incorporation of Tibet into the People's Republic of China about 60 years ago. So I thought the generation transition has occurred in the refugees.
