Many people were eating and drinking under the cherry blossoms
The cluster of people was sitting on the lawn in the park. They were picnicking to enjoy cherry blossoms in flower. The stretch of turf which was spacious at other times was crowded.
In this season, the young and the old who were not used to come to the park also came to the park where the cherry trees were planted and enjoyed drinking and eating. They were milling about there and I was looking at them without getting too close.
