The pier I was aiming for was located at the end of an alley. From here, I would take a ferry to the other side of the Chao Phraya River, which flows through Bangkok. When I arrived at the pier, the timing was not good and no ferry had landed at the pier. I had to wait for a while for the ferry to come from the other side of the river. When I looked at the surface of the Chao Phraya River, the water was quite muddy.
There were other people waiting at the pier. Among them was a group of young men. One of them was pointing his DSLR camera at his flamboyantly dressed companion. The other members of the group were also pointing their smartphones at the person. It looked like they were having some kind of photo session. However, the members were all young and not very sophisticated, so the atmosphere was as if they were students having fun. In any case, everyone seemed to be having a good time taking pictures. I followed in their footsteps and pointed my camera at them.
As I was doing so, the person who had been silently posing earlier opened his mouth. The voice was unexpectedly low. The person was dressed in women's clothing, but he was a man.
