The men were working on a boat moored in the Hooghly River
As I walked along the Hooghly River, I came to a place where a wooden boat was moored. There were people bathing along the Hooghly River, and it was hard to decide whether it was a religious ghats or a bathing place instead of a public bath.
I looked over at the boat and saw men stirring. They seemed to be preparing to set sail, and the men were moving around busily. This vast Hooghly River is their workplace. The red cloth stretched over the boat was very bright, perhaps to protect it from the rain.
