When I stood at the entrance of the passageway, I found a man standing at the end of it. Beside him, a heap of the metal basin was seen. He might be a door-knocker and was about to open the door.
When I was a child, there were many home-visit salespersons also in Japan. Yet they have disappeared already. They were superseded by the mail-order business and web selling. I hoped he got ahead in business.
