Shot in the city of Mymensingh, Bangladesh.
A man whose eyebrows were thick stopped in front of me. He seemed to be confused a little and looked at my SLR camera with a blank face. At the same time, a woman wearing a Niqāb stood on the other side of him. Unlike him, she watched me through her inquiring eyes. And the man in this photo seemed to be worried about her.
Although the major religion in Bangladesh is Islam, it was not common to see women wearing a niqab in the streets. I thought it was too hot to wear here.
