The man was working in a construction site
The heavy bearded man was working in a construction site. He was a manual laborer. The construction sites around here were not mechanized and many laborers were working by humans. I thought they did a sort of work-sharing.
The manpower expenses could be unbelievably low here. Therefore, the employer might not receive an incentive to mechanize.
By the way, the face which gazed at me seemed to be surprised a little.
