I was told that the Oji Shrine in Oji is said to bring good luck, so I stood in front of the shrine and bowed in the same manner as everyone else. I stood in front of the shrine and did the same as everyone else, bowing two hands and clapping two hands. I was relieved.
When I turned around after paying my respects, I saw a straight approach to the shrine and a stone torii gate on the other side. The temple grounds, overgrown with trees, were dimly lit, and the entire approach was covered in shadows. The sun was shining through the trees in places. Worshippers were stirring on the dimly lit approach. It seems that this shrine attracts an unexpectedly large number of worshippers.
