There was an islet in the pond 'Senzoku-Ike'. And a small shrine dedicated to Sarasvati was stationed on it.
The deity originated from the Hindu goddess. Yet the characteristic in Japan had been different from its original. It is believed that the deity bestows monetary fortune. The main hall was cute and small. And there was nothing to be worthy of special mention unfortunately. What I was attracted was the exuberance of blooming Azaleas.
