Wandering through the maze of alleys in the old city of Fez, I came to a square with a beautifully decorated fountain. In Morocco's old city, wells were set up in many of the alleys and are still in use today.
I turned our attention to the building next to the fountain, which had a magnificent door with a large horseshoe-shaped arch. It was the entrance to the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts. The large wooden door was decorated with many studs and knockers, as the museum exhibits wood crafts. When I looked behind the door, which was open on one side, I saw two people sitting on chairs.
