When I walk through the alleys of Casablanca's old town, I often see wells. Many people are still drawing water from wells. I don't know if they are drinking water or water for domestic use. In any case, I wonder if there isn't a water supply system far away in every household.
What I notice is that collecting water is not necessarily a woman's job around here. It is often considered a woman's job to collect water from the well, but here, men also come to the well. The man in this photo also came to the well with a bucket and started to collect water.
