As I was riding my motorbike down a straight road with not a single person in sight, I noticed a goat on the side of the road. It was tied to a string and was sitting on the side of the road, staring at the end of the straight stretch of road. Even when I approached it, it did not look at me. The goat continued to stare at the end of the road.
The way it stared was serious as if it was waiting for something to come from the other side of the road. Perhaps it was waiting for something to come from the other side, something that would liberate it from its current situation. Unfortunately, no human figures were on the road, nor were there any of its fellow goats. No matter how long I waited, I couldn't believe that a hero would appear who would free the tethered goats. Reality is harsh.
