As I continued down the street in Jakarta, I came to a shop that looked like a warehouse. It might be a shipping company because there are trucks pulling in. A sign hanging above the entrance said something like "Expedited Transportation". Men were working around a large bag. I wondered what they were bagging. It was a very large sack.
In general, when a country develops, it's not enough to have more factories and stuff, the various infrastructures that support those factories have to develop as well. Without stable electricity and logistics, even if there is a factory, production will not work. In that sense, the country of Indonesia cannot develop unless it also develops transport companies like the one in the picture.
As I was just passing by, I didn't know if this company was really a transport company or not, or even what they were carrying, but I could tell that the men working there were cheerful. They all looked at my camera and smiled happily at me.
