A used umbrella stood in a small square in the old city of Kathmandu. A street vendor could be seen underneath the umbrella, which was tied to a vertical pole. The umbrella was a substitute for the roof of their store.
There were two people working in the stall, but there was only one umbrella to serve as a roof. It seemed too small for both of them to be under the umbrella at the same time, but that seemed to be a trivial matter. There were sacks of grain lined up around the stalls, and the two of them were selling them without paying any attention to the umbrella.
Looking beyond the stalls, I saw a pigeon walking by. It looked innocent enough, but they might have been walking around the stall, looking for grains.
