A light rain was pouring down. The alleyways of Samphanthawong, Bangkok, where I was walking around, were empty and deserted. It was so quiet that I felt as if I could hear the sound of the rain. The many motorbikes parked in the alley seemed to be listening to the sound of the rain as they were drenched by the cold rain.
As I walked alone in the lonely alley, a woman appeared at the end of the alley. She was holding a large, striped umbrella. Unlike the motorcycle, which was helplessly soaked in the rain, this woman seemed to be going somewhere in the rain. Her steps seemed lighter than usual. But she doesn't get on the motorbike. She walked past a number of parked motorbikes and disappeared from sight.
