While walking along a small river in Jakarta, a bridge appeared. There was a busy road above, and cars and motorcycles were constantly driving through. I had been walking in a quiet residential area, so the atmosphere had completely changed. It was as if I had suddenly walked out the back door.
That being said, the surrounding area was not a downtown area, nor was it an office district. It was just a stretch of a busy street. But there seemed to be a lot of traffic, and several blue three-wheeled taxis, made by Bajaj Auto of India, were parked on the bridge. And each one has a driver in the driver's seat, ready to depart at any time. The bridge was like a taxi stand.
Since there were so many taxis waiting for customers, I thought many customers would come and get into Bajaj's taxi, but it was not so. The queue of Bajaj on the bridge didn't move at all. In the meantime, a scooter drove by and passed by Bajaj's side at a leisurely pace.
