The tiles on the roofs are all thick and magnificent. Although the number of tile-roofed houses is gradually decreasing, this place is famous for Tokoname pottery, so there are still many tile-roofed houses here.
Although roof tiles are only ornaments of a house, their presence is significant when you stare at them like this. I feel as if the tiles are the main character of the architecture. Even if they don't attract attention, they are still there, silently protecting the house on the roof, in a tight scrum. But when they are arranged so regularly, they look like they have been copied and pasted somehow.
