Shot in the city of Bhaktapur, Nepal.
An older woman with grey hair sat at the entrance of a house as if she barred the way. She seemed to perform a manual task there. I saw many people working at the entrance during rambling along the streets here.
It might be common because it was too dark to do something in the room. Maybe most of the dwellings were poorly‐lit. And it might not be the custom to switch on the light in the daytime. So the locals occupied the place to illuminate their hands.
