I was driving along the road along the Sea of Japan in Izumo. Then I saw some windmills spinning on a hill. It was windmills for wind power generation. They seemed to be in the middle of generating electricity by spinning their huge wings. It must be very windy around here all year round. It was indeed very windy on the day I visited. The clouds above the windmills were moving fast.
The windmills looked as if they were standing up to the strong wind. Here in Shimane, there is no sign of Don Quixote anywhere along the coast, so the windmills themselves may have to fight against something.
