The hall stood majestically
The beautiful architecture in this photo was the main hall of Wat Xieng Thong which was built in 1560. Although it stood majestically, it was smaller than I expected. The importance was not proportional to the size.
It had some layers of roofs. This style was common and traditional here. This temple is still one of the most important of monasteries in this country and designated a World Heritage Site.
