Patan's Durbar Square, a World Heritage Site, is home to several Hindu temples, including the Krishna Temple, which was built in the 17th century. The stone Krishna Temple stands out from the many brick buildings in the square.
There are tourists like me in Durbar Square, people doing business with tourists, and locals who don't know what they are doing. The man who was lounging under the eaves of the Krishna temple was one of those who fall into the category of not knowing what he was doing. He didn't look like he was sightseeing or hawking his wares. He was just playing with his cell phone. When I noticed he was just playing with his cell phone, I realized that even in this old-fashioned square, cell phone signals were flying all over the place.
