I was walking down Macedonio Alcalá Street in Oaxaca. This street connects the Zocalo and Santo Domingo de Guzman Cathedral in the Historic Center of Oaxaca, which is registered as a World Heritage Site. Most of the buildings have entrances and exits facing the street, but there was a section with a series of tall walls in one corner. Beyond the wall, where I could not see any entrance or exit, there seemed to be a library.
A lamppost stood next to the wall. A shadow fell clearly on the wall. The shadows were like twins. A woman passed by. Unlike me, she did not seem to be the least bit interested in the shadow on the wall, and she strode past the lamppost.
