Alleyway Without Windows

People walking alleyway without windows

There were no windows on the wall

Shot in the city of Fez, Morocco.

The lane was flanked by the tall wall. I could see only doors on the ground floor. And there were no windows on both walls. I wondered how people dwelling in the buildings let in light. All windows seemed to be built into the other sides.

No one craned out of the window, but a street lamp looked down those who were walking the lane. When I watched the lane, I felt as if the people, including me, wandered into the three-dimensional maze.
